The Classic Double Bacon Cheeseburger is a pretty simple recipe that you can master in a few tries!
what you need for this 🙂
2 1/4 LB thawed burger patties
2 slices of american cheese
what you do:
I thaw the burgers to room temperate on a plate in the microwave, and I season them with salt & pepper, onion & garlic powder, seasoning salt, paprika, ginger, Worcestershire sauce and a burger seasoning I buy at a local grocery store. After seasoning my burgers I wait up to half an hour to let the flavor absorb into the meat, I turn my griddle to 425 F and start cooking the burgers. in a separate pan I put a little olive oil and fry my egg sunny side up, and cook my bacon, when the burgers are finished cooking (after around 7-8 minutes) each burger gets a piece of cheese. Don’t take the burgers off the griddle yet, instead hold the top over them to melt the cheese evenly over the burger. next on one of the patties put 4 strips of bacon and then stack the other patty on top. after that you put the egg on top of the next patty and add more bacon. you then put it on a bun. I use bbq sauce as a condiment on my burgers as I personally believe it compliments them the most 🙂
